This event is free & open to the community!  Fentanyl Awareness:  What You'll Learn Understanding Fentanyl: Gain knowledge about fentanyl's potency, its impact on the body, and why it poses such a significant risk.  Overdose Prevention: Learn about the signs of an opioid overdose and effective prevention strategies.  Naloxone Training: Receive hands-on training on how to administer Naloxone (Narcan), a medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose by blocking the opioids' effects on the brain and restoring breathing.  Free Naloxone Distribution: Attendees will receive Naloxone free of charge to carry and use in case of an emergency.  Community problems require community solutions and we are here to arm you with knowledge & power. This is an informative event you do not want to miss. Appropriate for all ages - parental discretion.
